My Dad was on a plane ride to Wisconsin where my Grandma lies sick. He was on his way to visit her, but before he could get there the message came. She’s gone Gone, and into the heavens. Her life gone, her body still on this planet, her soul rising to heaven. Dad called us, me and Mom, to break the news. I remember going to her funeral, a couple weeks later. Her beautiful coin which she was in and now she is ashes in a pot. Sometimes I wish she would rise from the ashes, alive again like a phoenix. I never cried over her gone. She died when I was 9. She lived in Wisconsin and I was in Idaho. I visited my family in Wisconsin probably once a year. I have a memory of walking on the beach with her in Florida picking up shells. She loved the ocean, the beach, the shells. Whenever I see something connected to an ocean, or beach, or shells, I think of her. Grandma Midge.

I remember this one time it was Halloween and I was goin’ Everywhere having fun and then this Other Time I went to this park called Borah and at that time I had a lot of candy from Trick or Treating and my legs hurt so much from Trick or Treating and then I went to Borah Park to go Trick or Treating, but then these Teenage drug dealers came to steal our candy chasing us with real guns and knives and even though my legs were hurting, I was like Nope Nope Nope, my candy not bout to get stolen today. So I bolted and dipped and Ran so quick without even caring about my legs hurting and me and my friends got away from them. They continued chasing us not with their legs but with their cars, but the only reason they didn’t get us was 109
because they were smokers so their lungs don’t work that Good. So before we stopped running they stopped way way way way way before us so we were able to get away and hide somewhere so they wouldn’t ind us and the only reason they weren’t able to get us was because it was dark and nighttime. I went to call the cops to tell them what happened, but the cops didn’t answer and we heard the drug dealers sing songs past us and our phone suddenly rings and we get caught. All of our things are taken away and then we die.
