Open Doors Ministries Host Cape Fear Teen Challenge's
By: Chi Open Doors Ministries hosted Cape Fear Teen Challenge in their 1st annual benefit ride, on Saturday, September 26, 2020. Cape Fear Adult & Teen Challenge “provides Christian based residential care to young people and adults who struggle with life controlling problems.” They are a certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Their women’s program typically lasts between 12 and 18 months. The life skills and philosophy consist of individual and group biblical studies, work, projects, education and recreation. They rely on the generous support of donors, income from micro enterprises, and student tuition. We are supposed to help one another so let’s have fun doing that when we can, was the message from Open Doors Ministries. Pastor, Dale Taylor, led with prayer for a blessed ride and event. Prayers for the Cape Fear Adult/Teen Challenge, as it’s been a rough year. The ministry of Cape Fear Teen Challenge is to help one another; to be a light when it seems all is dark, to provide help in time of need and to build a foundation for each individual to grow. Cape Fear Challenge is located at 1456 Lula Long Rd, Elizabethtown, NC. They can be reached by phone at 910-588-4115 It was a nice day to ride. Open Doors Ministries welcomed riders from Sons of God MC and their His Laboring Few Biker Ministry of Jesus Christ along with independent riders. Everyone was definitely ready to twist their wrist for a great cause. Kick stands were up at 11 am and the ride was great! There was that calming feeling you get when all you hear is the “Roar of the Ride!” Everyone returned to fellowship. There were also delicious chicken plates, a raffle and prizes. Everyone was winning prizes having a good time and celebrating love, hope and charity. The pastor would win a prize and look around to see who to give it to. Yes, it’s always that kind of atmosphere each time I visit. Everyone is welcomed and ya feel right at home at Open Doors Ministries. They welcome all to join in worship at Open Doors Ministries 2407 E. Broad Street in Elizabethtown, NC 28337. It's always a great time when you just ride and help someone at the same time! Open Door Ministries and Cape Fear Teen Challenge extended their thanks for the support from the community, God bless! ion. Their women’s program typically lasts between 12 and 18 months.
