Not any more than getting color or a fun updo! With the Harper Ellis Concealed Bead Method, the beads are attached to your existing hair. The weft is then sewn in using the beads as a sturdy and safe foundation. Our wefts are hand-tied, which makes them lighter than other machine-made extensions, so they’ll be comfortable for you to wear! Will they blend in with my natural hair? You’ve seen the range of colors we offer, but sometimes the wefts will need to be custom-colored to blend seamlessly with your natural hair color. Harper Ellis hair is silicone-free, which makes it super easy to color, just like your own hair! How much does it cost? Hand-tied hair extensions can cost anywhere from $800-$3,000. The price depends on the look you are trying to achieve. Consult with your stylists to perfectly match YOUR ideal look! How long does it take? An installation can take, on average, 3-5 hours. Every 6-8 weeks you will schedule a move up appointment with your stylist that should take no longer than 1-2 hours. We promise it will be worth it! Are there special products I need to use? The best products for your hair are sulfate-free, paraben-free, and salon quality. How long do they last? The longevity of the hair is totally up to YOU! The less you wash and the more you follow the Harper Ellis Extensions Guide, the hair can last up to 1 year or longer— some clients wear their same hair for 1.5 years! Can you really not see them? If you're working with a Harper Ellis Certified Stylist, you know you're in good hands!
