Aaron Lewis grew up in Springfield, Vermont, listening to his grandparents’ country 8-tracks. Those roots inspired the founder of multi-platinum rock band Staind to return to his origins, with successes including the Billboard No. 1 Top Country Albums Town Line and Sinner and the No. 1 Hot Country Song “Am I the Only One.” Having recorded with George Jones, Willie Nelson, Charlie Daniels, Alison Krauss and Vince Gill, Lewis has put a traditionalist brand on his outlier country. Frayed at Both Ends, released in January, shows the workingman’s country star at his most personal and unplugged – an intimate record reflected in this acoustic tour.
