The mission of the Great American Songbook Foundation is to inspire and educate by celebrating the Great American Songbook.

Museum®. The Foundation carries out its unique mission to inspire and educate by celebrating the Great American Songbook in numerous ways:

• The Songbook Library & Archives houses documents, images and historic artifacts of songwriters Meredith Willson ( The Music Man) and Harold Arlen ( The Wizard of Oz) and artists like Natalie Cole, Andy Williams, and Sammy Davis, Jr.

• The Songbook Exhibit Gallery – free and open to the public – is a multimedia educational center with rotating exhibits exploring history and popular culture through the lens of music.

• The Songbook Academy ® is a national summer music intensive that provides pre-professional training, world class mentorship and performance experience for aspiring high school singers.

• Perfect Harmony is a music resource that provides care partners with generational music and activities to engage older adults through a shared music experience.

• The Songbook Hall of Fame recognizes singers, songwriters and other artists who have made significant contributions to the Great American Songbook, with a new class inducted each year.

EXHIBIT GALLERY HOURS: Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm

The Gallery is also open one hour prior to select Center Presents performances at the Palladium.
