WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO PARENTS, TEACHERS AND LEARNERS

Fear has gripped hearts both locally and globally. Covid-19 has swept across the globe and claimed the lives of thousands. On the 1 st of June SA’s phased in school program will commence. There are mixed feelings and strong debates regarding this move. Parents, teachers and learners are all faced with their own fears and anxieties. During such times one can only turn to the Word of God for strength, comfort and courage. Along with Psalm 91; here are some scriptures of encouragement to pray and confess daily.
Deuteronomy 31v8: The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
Psalm 4v8: In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Proverbs 12v25: Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.
Isaiah 41v10: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Jeremiah 29v11-13: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Matthew 11v28: Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Romans 8v38-39: For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Corinthians 1v10: He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us…
