Berluti reveals a new surface design that pays homage to the house’s rich bootmaking heritage and know-how. A nail-head surface decoration is introduced as an all-over embellishment across a range of leather accessories, bags, footwear and select RTW styles. The presence of the nail-heads signifies Kris Van Assche’s ongoing fusion of modernity with the classic values of the maison. In ready-to-wear, a leather suit and sweatshirt flaunt the new embellishment, reinforcing Berluti’s continuous evolution and innovative design. The new technique is interpreted across timeless footwear styles as well as more recent launches, including the house’s iconic Alessandro lace up and the modern Stellar. The Un Jour Gulliver, a versatile messenger bag, is reimagined this season with the new surface, offering the perfect accessory for the contemporary gentleman.

Swiss luxury watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen, in collaboration with long-term partners in Qatar Al Majed Jewellery, announces its participation at the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition 2020. Set to take place from 24 to 29 February, the largest jewellery and watch fair in the Middle East will be attended by the region’s most passionate watch connoisseurs and timepiece enthusiasts, who will come together to see over 500 international luxury brands on display. IWC is set to showcase some of the finest limited-edition collections from its portfolio at this year’s exhibition. Watch collectors will have the opportunity to discover new models and purchase their favourite timepieces from the collection. Several Portugieser and Portofino timepieces will be on display, including the Portugieser Tourbillon Mystère Rétrograde (Ref. IW504602) with its retrograde date display that jumps back to the 1st of the month after the 31st of the previous month. Another impressive feature of this Portugieser is the unusual presentation of the flying tourbillon, consisting of 82 parts, as a “12” that appears to come to life. In addition, the Portugieser Constant-Force Tourbillon Edition “150 Years” (Ref. IW590203) stands out as one of the technical highlights in the jubilee collection. This limited-edition model features a platinum case, a blue dial with a lacquered finish and rhodium-plated hands. The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar Digital DateMonth (Ref. IW397202) is a particularly striking perpetual-calendar model with its large double-digit displays for the date and month and its leap year display – a unique timepiece that is perfectly suited for 2020.

A team of passionate sales advisors and brand specialists offer personalized service, watchmaking knowledge and in-depth counsel in multiple languages to customers from Dubai and beyond. Over 150 timepieces are available for purchase, including classic favourites such as Carrera and, recent launches like Autavia Calibre 5, or limited-edition models celebrating Monaco’s 50th anniversary.
