HOMENAJE TRENZADO

The new Homenaje Trenzado has revamped version of its embossed pattern, given a twist using our Stamp technique. A special plate has been developed to emboss the leather to create a trompe l'oeil effect, adding volume to our cubes whilst at the same time giving the sensation that the leather is braided. An optical Illusion that alludes to the irony that characterizes the brand. This concept, which has rapidly become a point of reference for Purificación García, is directly linked to its DNA by means of "The Cube" to which it pays tribute. Its origins lie in the idea of giving new life to high quality leathers that are either unused or have little remaining stock. Instead of producing more, it is these leathers that are used to manufacture the bags. As a result, each leather and colour used in a Homenaje Trenzado bag are unique. They are limited editions produced in small quantities of between 80 and 250 pieces, depending on the bag's volume and the availability of the leather.

Creativity has been used to maximize the use of the leathers and give them added value through design. We see this use of materials as one of the key points in a move towards sustainability, especially in pieces that are created to last and live with us over time. The bags are light, flexible and soft to the touch. They are stripped of almost all trimmings, leaving only the very discreet, cubeshaped ones developed specifically for this family. The designs work with minimal, refined volumes that let the leather speak for itself. It is this mix of concepts, combination of ideas and the introduction of surprising new interpretations that motivates us.
