Escurrimientos:

Naturalmente esta zona tiene un gran nivel de escurrimientos que desembocan en las zonas bajas de la periferia y, eventualmente, se desperdician al combinarse con aguas negras en el drenaje de la ciudad. La capacidad de captación de aguas pluviales presenta la oportunidad de evitar inundaciones en la zona inferior, aligerar el flujo de agua en las tuberías y hacer uso de esta agua para los habitantes, o reinfiltrarla al subsuelo.

Relaciones del barrio:

Actualmente existe una desconexión entre las personas y su entorno, pero hay gestos de apropiación del espacio inmediato (banqueta), los espacios urbanos no invitan a la interacción social y genera la oportunidad de brindarles espacios en los cuales puedan ocurrir actividades vecinales y reactivar las actividades sociales fuera de casa.

Runoff:

Naturally, this area has a high amount of runoff that flows into the low-lying areas of the periphery and, eventually, is wasted by combining with sewage in the city’s drainage. The capacity of harvesting rainwater presents the opportunity to avoid flooding in the lower zone, reduce the amount of water in the pipes and make use of this water for the inhabitants, or reinfiltrate it into the subsoil.

Neighborhood Relationships:

Currently, there is a disconnection between people and their environment, but there are some gestures of appropriation of the immediate space (sidewalks), urban spaces do not invite for social interaction and generate the opportunity to provide spaces in which neighborhood activities can take place, and reactivate social activities out of home.
