What’s New:

Two grants are currently helping improve CCISD. The MIZ Grant (Math Innovation Zone) is intended to improve math scores and instruction through the implementation of blended learning. This school year, the Kindergarten, 3rd, & 6th grades are participating to be joined by the 1st, 4th, and 7th, then 2nd, 5th, & 8th in successive years. The READ Grant seeks to improve and enhance 2nd, 3rd, and 5th reading education; teaching new ELAR TEKS and effective instructional techniques & strategies.

On behalf of the Clarendon CISD student body, staff, and board of trustees, it is my distinct honor to welcome you to our family-centered community steeped in a rich history that dates back to the late 1800s.

Our goal at CCISD is to add to that history while providing a quality education in a safe, supportive environment where student success in paramount. We want to encourage, empower, and equip all students to achieve their full potential.

We are proud of our Bronco basketball team, which has won back-to-back UIL 2A State Championships!

We also celebrate the Bronco Band, which brought home a sweepstakes trophy this spring, receiving a Division One rating in concert and sightreading competition. The CHS One Act Play once again advanced to the UIL BiDistrict Competition with their performance of "On Golden Pond." UIL Academic and Athletic opportunities in the spring afford Clarendon CISD students the ability to showcase their talents and compete for advancement to regional state level competitions.

We have upgraded technology in each classroom throughout the district with Promethean ActivPanels that enhances connectivity and the learning experience for all Clarendon CISD students.

Our district strives to provide the best educational experiences and opportunities for every student through high quality instruction and a wide variety of opportunities for students to get involved and enhance their leadership skills.

Clarendon CISD has a long tradition of excellence in providing students with an educational experience that prepares them to be wellrounded members of the community and to build a successful future.
