In 2010, we expanded Common Threads and started taking back everything we make for recycling. In 2017, we created a system for reusing Patagonia clothing. Snap-T® + Laughing Waters Patagonia textile designers dipped into the archives this season. Laughing Waters is a heritage print from a 1996 design called Minnehaha. Catalog copy back then noted that “Minnehaha is inspired by Navajo ‘eye dazzler’ designs of the 1880s … the pattern is an unusual interplay of eight colors, including a subtle ombre or shaded effect.” The reissued Laughing Waters reinvents the artwork, using six colors and a very slight background fade. It’s printed on our lighter-weight Synchilla® 100% polyester fleece that’s soft, durable and breathable. The pullover features Snap-T® styling with a snapped placket and a chest pocket with a nylon flap. Imported.

Scrappy Recycled cashmere made from factory scraps. Cashmere—once a luxury fabric—is being treated like a commodity. Because demand now outpaces supply, it’s leading to overgrazing on delicate grasslands in Mongolia. We’re lessening the demand for virgin cashmere: Our 95% recycled cashmere is collected from factory scraps, blended with 5% wool, then repurposed into new clothing. Of all wools, none is as naturally well-suited for cool-season comfort and warmth as cashmere. It insulates efficiently (with little weight or bulk), is exceptionally durable and possesses legendary softness. The recycled cashmere styles we offer this season are no different. Whether you choose a crewneck, hoody, cardigan or quarter-zip, you’ll gain a wardrobe staple for seasons—and perhaps generations—to come. Imported.

Why down insulation? Down is nature’s insulating hero for cold, dry conditions. Warm, light and compressible, it delivers deep warmth in the world’s coldest environments. Our entire line of down products contains either recycled or traceable plumes. Recycled Down is reclaimed from down products. Traceable Down is traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked.

From quick-and-dirty road trips to that expedition you’ve been planning for a decade, there’s a bag in the Black Hole™ collection to get you there. Our duffels, packs, totes, bags and cubes—in original or lightweight fabric—are durably built and have wellthought-out features to protect and organize your gear. To stave off rain, snow and mud while protecting gear from rough handling, Black Holes are made from highly weatherresistant 100% polyester ripstop (50% solution-dyed) with a TPU-film laminate and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Black Hole Cubes come in three sizes to organize everything from toothpaste to climbing shoes, and they fit perfectly inside our Black Hole Duffels. Exterior daisy chains and grab handles
on both styles let you clip or lash the cubes to the outside of the duffels. The original stuff-swallower of the collection, Black Hole Duffels come in four sizes, with or without wheels. There’s a large zippered opening to the roomy main compartment to make packing and unpacking easier. A zippered side pocket secures items you need to access quickly. For retrieving the duffel after stowing, there are webbing handles with a snap closure at the top, plus haul loops at either end. And when you return from parts known and unknown, the entire bag stuffs into its own pocket for compact storage. See the Black Hole collection at patagonia.com/blackhole.

¡Viva los fun piglets! Gear that stands up to childhood. Guaranteed. No one is harder on clothes than kids. That’s why our kids’ gear is built to survive the dirt-romping, puddle-stomping and rump-sledding of young mountain bikers, climbers and skiers—with wear to spare for a sibling, cousin or buddy. We use the same exacting construction, fabrics and durability standards as we do for adults and back it all up with our Ironclad Guarantee. Imported.

Kids’ Snow All our kids’ snow styles share elements we find essential. For an extra season of wear, the grow-fit feature adds two inches in length to sleeves and pant legs. To keep kids on the slopes longer, there’s toasty warm Thermogreen® 100% polyester (92% recycled) insulation throughout—even in the hood. Powder skir ts make the jackets slopeworthy, and reflectivity means that kids are visible. Fully taped seams, a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and burly fabrics protect kids from wet weather. Find more kids’ snow gear at patagonia.com. Imported.

800-638-6464
We build our Workwear for the people who are putting their backs into it, day in and day out, to better their own piece of ground. To stand up to the toughest tasks, we’ve developed Iron Forge Hemp™ canvas, an innovative, heavy-duty blend of industrial hemp, recycled polyester and organic cotton. It’s 25 percent more abrasion resistant than conventional cotton duck canvas, and the mix of fibers means it needs no break-in and is ready to work on day one. Imported.
