ABOUT US FOLK INTEGRATION REVOLUTION RESTORATION As a fashion house, we are re-inventing “ways of doing” to create a sustainable “Made in the Caribbean” praxis. We are storytellers of Trinidad & Tobago and visionaries of a thriving Caribbean. Our Creative Director, Robert Young’s design voice has disrupted the region’s fashion industry since 1986. In the absence of a local textile industry Robert developed a distinctive textile, called appliqué. Appliqué features on many of our designs and is one of the most recognizable elements of our brand. Our work is made using 100% natural fibre fabrics. We’re working to develop a woven fabric that is grown, spun and woven here, and we’ll do it even if it has to be “obziocky” to start. We believe that great design can change the world. Our house’s creativity draws from a rich heritage of revolutionary spirit. In this lookbook, you’ll see select pieces made from 100% baltic linen, 100% hand-block printed, indigo-dyed cottons, and 100% cotton voiles. We make all our clothes at our studio in Belmont, Port of Spain.

The silhouette and appliquĂŠ placement front-and-back is inspired by our indigenous turtles - the Morocoi - who are at home both at sea and on land. Buttons run along the back to invite you to wear this piece as a jacket or as a dress.
