MEMORANDUM TO:

RICKEYA FRANKLIN

FROM: ROB SOLLARS DATE: MARCH 30, 2018 SUBJECT: REVIEW OF DISPOSITIONS SUBMITTED BY COURTS

The Identification Quality Assurance Unit reviewed submissions of disposition information from Courts for November and December of 2017, and January and February of 2018 to determine if issues exist with the information being submitted to BCI for the CCH repository. Historically the Mayors Courts have had little or no activity to report; hearing mainly traffic offenses and very few misdemeanors. The Common Pleas and Municipal Courts may have multiple ORI numbers explaining why there is nothing listed under these specific ORIs. The Quality Assurance Specialist assigned to this compliance project for this review period reviewed the data provided by AGO IT and the databases maintained by the Conversion Identification Unit to comprise a list of potential noncompliant courts. 77 courts were identified for further follow-up or contact. The Quality Assurance Specialist assigned to the region where these courts exist called each court to determine whether or not there is a problem and forwarded their comments to the QA Manager for Review. After review of the comments the following 14 courts were determined to be non-compliant which include 3 Common Pleas, 9 Municipal, and 2 Mayor’s Courts. The comments from our contact with the courts are listed below. A follow-up visit from the QA Specialist where the court exists will be scheduled within 30 days. If the issue still exists the court contact information will be escaladed to BCI management for them to also contact the court.
