ABOUT THIS HOUSE

L

ocated on the private and sought after Townsend Road, Dunvegan House sits in a wonderful edge of village location with beautiful views over farmland. The house was originally built in 1902 by the local builder

Smallbone, whose family later founded the famous Smallbone of Devizes kitchen company. Smallbone was a renowned local builder in the Edwardian period and he built a number of houses in Streatley, with Dunvegan House the third house he built, as can be seen on the original plaque displayed by the back door.
