Tucked away in a private position fronting Main River, this award-winning entertainer has everything a modern family needs to work, rest and play at home.

This triple award-winning estate might be regarded as one of the finest on Main River, but to owners Angela and Dennis Perry their luxury Carrara home is a place to gather and celebrate.
From large-scale fiftieth birthdays hosting 110 guests with ease through to extended family Christmas gatherings, many magical memories have been made within this 3,860m2 allotment.
Boasting 30.4-metre water frontage and parkland views, the Perrys were drawn to this site long before realising their dream home on the land 3.5 years ago.
“My husband Dennis would water ski past here and had a goal to live here one day,” says Angela. “We were attracted to the size of the block and the Main River location. We also love the privacy – when you look at other waterfront homes, you can see straight into the house across the water. Not here.”
Designed by Jared Poole and built by Koryzma Constructions, the residence has been recognised with several Master Builders awards, including House of the Year in 2019.
Built around a grand poinciana tree, the 1,267m2 main residence boasts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, multiple living areas and exceptional entertaining.
Cavity slider doors dissolve the barriers between indoors and out, with the gourmet kitchen plus butler’s pantry, living and dining area a natural extension of the outdoors.
Clean lines and contemporary finishes give the house a modern edge while dedicated zones in which to relax or gather with guests creates an inviting charm.
“We wanted a really functional home – that was the biggest thing,” says Angela.
“Plus, we wanted to let the winter sun in and keep the summer sun out.
And when the mood shifts into party mode the recreation room – a self-contained entertaining pavilion – is the ultimate destination, with a full bar, kitchen, bathroom and deck.
Guests can also enjoy woodfire pizza from a quaint garden courtyard or serve up teppanyaki in the expansive all-weather alfresco terrace.
The rear outlook encompasses a 14-metre pool, spa and an expansive eyeful of Main
640 Nerang Broadbeach Road, Carrara
River and the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens
– a view which can never be built out.
A 12-metre pontoon, championship tennis court, media room, executive office and CBUS home automation round out the
reasons you won’t want to leave.
“It’s just so peaceful,” says Angela.
“It’s lovely to sit here with my morning coffee and look down the river.
While the private entertainer might feel like a world away, the location could not be more central nor convenient for all
members of the family.
The Carrara estate is minutes from
Emmanuel College and the shops, golfing and parklands of Emerald Lakes while AFL fans are set with Metricon Stadium just down the road.
