Evans  is a voracious reader whose writing is strongly influenced by her fascination with fantasy novels and crime documentaries. She has a strong appreciation for the macabre stemming from an early exposure to the work of Edgar Allan Poe. Her pieces often showcase her dark sense of humor and love of the unusual. In December, Nora will graduate with her Masters of Arts in English at the University of Indianapolis. She currently serves as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the 21st Century Scholars Program. This is her first publication.

Her poem, “Light, Blue,” was awarded the 2016 Laurie Mansell Reich Academy of American Poets prize. Her poetry and reviews have appeared or are forthcoming in Rogue Agent, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Pittsburgh City Paper, Pretty Owl Poetry, Pittsburgh Poetry Review, Olentangy Review, Mom Egg Review, Coal Hill Review, and elsewhere. An academic librarian, she lives and works in Pittsburgh, PA.

Two of her poems have been nominated for the Pushcart Award: “Seahorse and Moon” in 2005 and “I Walked Out in January” in 2016.

Notty Bumbo

Notty Bumbo is a writer, artist, and poet living in Fort Bragg, California. He has been published in a number of small journals and presses, including the Amphigoric Sauce Factory, Words Without Walls, Poesis, Telling Our Stories Press, Peacock Journal, and Calabash Cadence’ Taisgeadan, Word Fountain, Poetry South and others. His novella, Tyrian Dreams, is available through Kindle via Amazon Publishing. He has recently been responsible for Questor’s Journeys, a daily commentary on life as we seldom notice it, from the perspective of a Trans-Universal visitor.

Ira Joel Haber was born and lives in Brooklyn. He is a sculptor, painter, writer, book dealer, photographer and teacher. His work has been seen in numerous group shows both in the USA and Europe and he has had 9 one man shows including several retrospectives of his sculpture. His work is in the collections of The Whitney Museum Of American Art, New York University, The Guggenheim Museum, The Hirshhorn Museum,The Albright-Knox Art Gallery & The Allen Memorial Art Museum. Since 2006 His paintings, drawings, photographs and collages have been published in over 230 online and print magazines including Rock Heals, Otoliths, Winamop, Melancholia's Tremulous Dreadlocks, Barfing Frog, The Raving Dove, DeComp, Foliate Oak, Siren, Prose Toad, Triplopia, and many others.


Letisia Cruz

Letisia Cruz is a Cuban-American writer and artist. She is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University’s MFA program and currently lives in Miami, Florida. She serves as Resident Artist at Petite Hound Press, Online Poetry Re-Features Editor at The Literary Review, and Assistant Editor at Cheap Pop. Her writing and artwork have appeared in Ninth Letter, The Acentos Review, Gulf Stream, Moko Caribbean Arts and Letters, Ink Brick, The Sourland Mountain Review, Body Literature, and the Writing Disorder, and her chapbook Chonga Nation was selected as a finalist in the 2016 Gazing Grain Press Poetry Chapbook Contest.


John Mullennix

John Mullennix is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh who studies experimental aesthetics. Not the typical professor, he sports over 40 tattoos and collects swords and knives. Photography is a creative outlet for him. As Einstein said, “The greatest scientists are always artists as well.�
