Middle and Upper School (6th-12th) students will enter and exit the Academic Building through the main lobby doors. This is the "blue squares" entrance facing Bluffton Parkway.
Lower School students (K-5th) enter and exit at the back of the Academic Building, near the playground and football bleachers.

Campus Entrance & Exit Gates
Gates at each campus entrance are open at the beginning of the school day and the end of the school day.
During the school day, campus access is only granted through the main entrance gate on Bluffton Parkway. This is located between Masters Way and Buckwalter Pkwy.
When the gate is closed during school hours, press the "CALL" button to access campus.
Campus Visitor Check-In
ALL visitors (parents, volunteers, contractors, etc.) must report to the front desk and sign in through the Raptor Management System, which screens visitors upon arrival and tracks them on campus at all times.
If a student is being picked up or is riding home with someone else, you MUST send a note in writing, email or call Mrs. Higgs.
This is especially important for Lower School students. We cannot take the word from the student that he/she is going with someone else!
Who do I call when my child will miss school? If your child will miss school for any reason, call or email Mrs. Higgs.
Likewise, if your student arrives late or needs to leave early for an appointment, you will need to sign them in/out with Mrs. Higgs. If your student drives, call Mrs. Higgs and let her know it is OK to dismiss your student!
Send a note or an email in advance if you know your student will be out. Mrs. Higgs loves to get a heads-up!
There are a few easy ways you can keep up with all that's happening in the HHCA community:
HHCA.org houses our offical school calendar and a bank of school news items, as well as athletics and fine arts schedules. Check your inbox every Monday for a Principal Update email. This email highlights important things you need to know each week. You'll also receive a link to the email via text.
Be sure to follow HHCA on social media
MyHHCA
This is a hub specifically for HHCA families that houses important information.
Many use MyHHCA every day to access course information, assignments, grades, conduct reports, report cards, the Student Handbook and more.
On the MyHHCA toolbar you'll see a RESOURCES tab. This is where you'll find the link for lunch orders, bus info, as well as the link to your Magnus Health Portal where your student's health records live.
MyHHCA
You can access MyHHCA at hhca.org/myhhca. There's also a link to it in the top right corner of the homepage, under QUICKLINKS.

dresscode&uniform
As representatives of our school, students are expected to reflect HHCA values in all they do, including how they dress. The Lower School and the MS/US dress code provide specific direction in how students are to dress.
LS students must wear specific uniforms with approved embroidered logos. On Fridays, Lower School students may wear approved spirit gear with jeans.
Our MS/US dress code allows students to wear HHCA branded tops, with a few options for bottoms that include certain approved joggers, pants, and skirts.
IMPORTANT: Specific requirements for both dress codes should be referenced to ensure compliance!
hhca.org/studenthandbook
Every Friday is Spirit Day! Everyone can wear jeans and an HHCA t-shirt. (Jeans must comply with dress code…no rips, holes or tears.)
We believe that Christian education is about helping every student see all of life through the lens of God's Word. This impacts everything we do at HHCA.
Students have the opportunity to grow spiritually in many ways. Bible classes, weekly chapels, retreats, and strong mentoring relationships with faculty and staff are just a few of the ways spiritual growth is encouraged in the lives of students throughout the school year.

HHCA's Parent Teacher Fellowship is a great starting point for getting involved.
As the parent/caregiver of an HHCA student, you are automatically a PTF member.
PTF supports the success and spiritual growth of HHCA students by promoting school events, encouraging faculty and staff, and creating opportunities for parent and community fellowship.
PTF hosts "Plugged-In" parent meetings several times each semester. Visit hhca.org/ptf for dates and locations. All parents/caregivers are invited and encouraged to participate.

PTFgradereps2024-2025
Each grade has an assigned PTF Grade Representative. Your "Grade Rep" will help keep you in the HHCA loop, connect you with other parents, and answer your questions.
HHCA partners with local favorite Signature Catering & Events by SERG to provide delicious, healthy meal options Monday-Thursday. Lunch needs to be ordered in advance online through our online meal ordering system called Boonli. it'slunchtime!
To see the menu and order lunches online, you’ll need to set up your child's account with Boonli at hhca.org/lunch.
The password is hhca1. hhca.org/lunch
Pre-ordered lunches, in both hot and cold options, will be available for all students Monday-Thursday only.
MS/US students DO NOT have lunch on campus on Fridays, prior to the 12:30 PM dismissal. Lower School students will need to bring lunch on Fridays.
