Tennis Focus on basic skill development such as forehand, backhand and an understanding of the rules of the game. Dance Students have the freedom to develop their own ideas and choreography through different types of dance.
Rounders Students develop batting, bowling & fielding skills as well as a thorough understanding of the rules & tactics.
Cricket Students develop batting, bowling & fielding skills and have the opportunity to represent the school in competitive fixtures.
Summer Term Movement Pathway One strand of the PE curriculum is movement lessons. PE lessons will focus on movement, encouraging students to develop their physical literacy. The better the movement, the better the performance.
Rugby Rugby is the main focus for boys within games in Terms 1-4. Students of to develop an understanding of the game and the key skills to be successful. Mass opportunities to represent the school.
Spring Term Badminton Main focus is hand-eye coordination, allowing students to develop key skills such as serving, overhead clear & forehand/backhand shots.

Baseline Assessment Students complete a number of baseline assessments to showcase their physical literacy and movement skills
Autumn Term
Basketball Students gain a basic understanding of the game and develop key skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting.
Athletics Students gain a thorough understanding of each athletic event, being able to apply clear coaching points and start to transfer this into a practical performance.
Netball Netball is the main focus for girls within games in Terms 1-4. Students of to develop an understanding of the game and the key skills to be successful. Mass opportunities to represent the school.
Hockey Students are introduced to the game and gain a basic understanding of the game and develop key skills such as dribbling, passing and shooting.
Participation Development Movement Prep / Warm Ups Students understand and are able to carry out their own warm up which will then be used for every PE & Games lesson.
