It is something my dad wanted me to get into and I liked it so I stayed with it,” Nosis said. With karate being one of Nosis’s strongest abilities, she has fought a long way to get to where she is today, training two times a week for two hours with her instructor, Doug Walker, and even training on her own everyday for an hour at the least. “I want to do this for the rest of my life. I am going to do it as long as my physical body can take it. I enjoy it because it’s fun and you get to learn a lot of different skills and there is a big discipline portion of it.
