Homecoming Queen Riley Damore and Homecoming King Ryley Rose express their gratitude towards royalty and their plans for college On Friday October 18, Ryley Rose and Riley Damore were crowned Class of 2020 Homecoming King and Queen. Damore was crowned by the 2018 Homecoming King Brendan Barnes and Rose was crowned by Emily Marvin, his best friend and the 2018 Homecoming Queen. They were voted by all four classes of Lakeview High School and were voted on Top Ten by the senior class. As everyone watched their coronation you couldn’t help but think,“That’s funny...Riley and Ryley.” Riley Damore plans on attending Michigan State next fall and pursuing a degree in business. Riley’s favorite part about homecomig week was putting together a dance and spending time with other members of the Top Ten. She was very thankful for the oppurtunity and was honored to the Homecoming queen of 2019. “I was very happy to be crowned and everyone was so supportive,” Damore said. Ryley Rose is undecided on where he is pursuing his educational career and what he is majoring in. He was very excited that he was crowned by Emily and had a lot of fun doing the Top Ten dance. His favorite day was Friday because it was the best day of his life. “It feels wonderful being Homecoming king I must say that,” senior Ryley Rose said.
