CWC in Ghana

Supporting Local Business CWC Group makes a point of using local partners wherever possible. We have partnered with KROS Ghana for the Ghana Summit for a 3rd year. KROS is led by senior partners Yaw Kankam and Edward Kofi Sereboe. KROS provides business development and market entry support services to companies interested in investing in Ghana, with a special focus on the energy sector.

In 2010, KROS Ghana partnered with CWC to deliver the first Ghana Summit that attracted over 400 delegates from all the major global oil & gas players to the heart of Ghana, Accra. Since then, KROS team has worked closely with CWC Group to deliver Ghana Summit, Africa Energy Week and in-company training courses. The vision of KROS Ghana is to bridge the gap between international investors and business opportunities in Ghana. KROS values are “Equity, Transparency and ‘It can be done’ ”.

KROS capitalize on a rich local network, knowledge and expertise to deliver the best to the clients.

Corporate Social Responsibility CWC does not consider corporate responsibility as a mere philanthropic gesture or add-on. It is part of our core business. The chosen charity for the Ghana Summit is the Drifting Angels Orphanage in Ghana. In 2010 we funded the construction of new washrooms and toilet facilities for the orphanage and funds from the Ghana Summit 2011 were used to pay for a year’s school fees and other essentials. This is a very important initiative and one we are proud to support. As a result Myriam Chbani has now been appointed to head up CWC’s new Corporate Social Responsibility Department and is based in Ghana.

Past Projects Include: June 2011 December 2010 April 2009 Christmas 2008
