CWC has an impressive track record in Nigeria, having just celebrated the 10th anniversary of Nigeria Oil & Gas (NOG) Conference and Exhibition, held annually in Abuja.

We also organise Nigeria Infrastructure (NIF) Conference & Exhibition, now in its third successful year, with the support of the Federal Ministry of Works, Housing and Urban Development, and the National Planning Commission, amongst others.

NOG 2010 attracted over 7000 participants in total, including 900 delegates, 55 sponsors and 180 exhibitors. It was inaugurated with a welcome address and opening tour by Acting President Goodluck Jonathan.

We have organised four telecoms events with the Ministry of Communications and the NCC, as well as several London based Nigeria Investment meetings with NIPC and an IPP event. Our work is done in consultation with Nigerian stakeholders including government

ministries, international investors, NGOs and Nigerian industry experts. CWC makes a point of using Nigerian contractors wherever possible, before, during, and after our events. We print our materials and banners in Nigeria, use local companies, transport and software companies, cleaners, catering, local stand builders and entertainment. We advertise in the Nigerian press and radio. www.thecwcgroup.com

African Exhibition Services African Exhibition Services has grown to become one of the leading West African companies in its field. It is proudly a Nigerian based company spreading its professional services to neighboring countries such as Angola, Benin, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal and even Mali. AES specialise in octanorm shell scheme, furniture hire, fabrication and hiring of exhibition tent structures, exhibition venue development and personalised stands.

CWC Supports NIBUCAA CWC is a member of the Nigerian Business Coalition Against AIDS (NIBUCAA). We share NIBUCAA’s belief that the private sector should respond to the growing challenges of HIV/AIDS ensuring equal rights and opportunities for employees infected or affected by the virus. NIBUCAA’s operational strategies are to: • Support the development of actionable activities around HIV & AIDS, by individual member companies through technical advice and advocacy

Nigeria’s indigenous companies can now boast improved work forces capable and trained to fulfill the services required; with recent drives in local content they are now winning big contracts. • Increase the range and quality of business sector involvement in HIV/ AIDS and by extension, tuberculosis and malaria • Expand membership, particularly to the small and medium-sized enterprises • Facilitate information sharing on good practice guidelines, policies and access to training sessions • Offer direct service provision to communities where businesses operate • Provision and dissemination of current research information on the “three big diseases” - ATM This is a very important initiative and one we are proud to support. Given our

14

long history of working in Africa and our extensive local contacts we are keenly aware of the impact of HIV and AIDS. CWC recognises the important issues faced in the countries we operate in and our role in these societies, hence our strong interest in supporting NIBUCAA’s efforts. for more information on how you too can support this worthy cause, please visit www.nibucaa.org.
