Why Is Colon Cleansing Important?
Colon cleansing is vital because accumulated toxins in the colon can cause stress to various organs responsible for elimination, such as the liver, kidneys, skin, and large intestine. These toxins circulate in the lymph system and blood, leading to autointoxication and potentially resulting in disease over time It's common for individuals to harbor years of impacted waste material in their colon However, by initiating colon cleansing through methods like fasting, adopting a healthier diet, or making lifestyle changes, the breakdown and removal of waste materials can begin, alleviating stress and minimizing the risk of toxin-related symptoms and diseases Toxins in the colon stress organs like the liver, kidneys, skin, and large intestine, leading to auto-intoxication and potential disease Years of impacted waste worsen this But, through methods like fasting and a healthier diet, colon cleansing initiates the breakdown and removal of these toxins, alleviating stress and reducing the risk of related diseases It's not just about cleansing; it's about safeguarding overall health and vitality

Does Body Movement Help With Mental and Physical Health?
Movement is the gateway to self-renewal in that it is proven to reduce stress, create mental clarity, and enhance the connection to our environment The beauty of being human lies within our ability to literally “renew” Our bodies are built to renew physical cells, and our minds will follow that pattern
Engaging in physical movement allows the body to release endorphins aka “feel good” hormones, which elevate our mood While moving the body we increase our circulation, creating more focus and mental clarity These benefits manifest physically as the body will be equipped to proactively fight chronic disease, therefore increasing our lifespan
Furthermore, physical movement provides a conscious interconnection between self, the earth, and every being that crosses our path As it is the language between the physical and mental body, directly impacting our quality of life It is an essential part of our daily routine, which is why I am dedicated to teaching others how to “Heal through Movement” at Essence of Motion

UNLOCKING DIVINE PURPOSE
The Journey of Dr. Portia Lockett from Grief to Glory.
Being a spiritual advisor, Chaplain, grief recovery method specialist, inspirational speaker and CEO of the Azal Benne Lockett Foundation has been a series of chapters that each have uniquely contributed to my current space.
Following the heart-wrenching loss of my son, it became evident that my personal and professional lives were destined to intertwine further As I devoted myself to assisting others through their intense grieving processes, I felt the divine assurance that this path would ultimately reflect God’s glory. Initially, offering support to others while navigating my own deep sorrow was immensely difficult. I have found profound fulfillment in aiding others as they navigate their own paths of grief.
Advancing to new heights and marking significant accomplishments, I initiated the Azal Benne Lockett Foundation and introduced the Permission series aimed at aiding those who are grieving. This series, encompassing “Permission To Grieve”, “Permission To Heal”, “Permission To Live and Laugh”, and “Permission To Love Again” offers a comprehensive support system for those grappling with loss.
My journey has been guided by a spiritual connection “
Key milestones in my journey also include the debut of The Grieving Journey Podcast, contributions to the Michigan Chronicle, a guest on FOX 2 News, numerous podcasts, and articles in but not limited to The New York Weekly Other highlights include being the coauthor of Amazon’s #1 seller Delayed But Not Denied 2 and the creation of a healing card deck designed to assist those on their path through grief
#POWERUP

INTERNATIONAL SPEAKER MAGAZINE
International Speaker Magazine is a specialty offspring of Courageous Woman Magazine that highlights phenomenal speakers from around the globe. This unique publication was launched with the mission to celebrate the power of effective communication and storytelling. Recognizing the profound impact that speakers have in inspiring, educating, and motivating audiences worldwide, International Speaker Magazine aims to showcase the diverse talents and insights of these individuals.
There Is Bravery In Vulnerability
Mildred J Mills is a retired IT executive and author of Daddy’s House: A Daughter’s Memoir of Setbacks, Triumphs & Rising Above Her Roots. She speaks authoritatively about her life experiences, rising from the cotton fields in rural Alabama to an IT executive in corporate America and beyond by taking responsibility for her actions, extracting positive and negative lessons from her parents, and using setbacks as stepping-stones.
“I chose to speak for the voiceless and, in turn, heal from my own trauma.
The most impactful speakers can shed the cloak of fear and bravely wade into the most vulnerable parts of their stories to help others heal.
I was inspired to become a speaker after witnessing domestic violence in the home and surviving sexual assault Fear of retribution is a significant factor preventing others from speaking out Yet, I chose to speak for the voiceless and, in turn, heal from my own trauma. I embarked upon my journey into the world of public speaking in a women’s shelter. I spent two years counseling women who were unable to move past horrific tales of abuse. Yet, these women tried to shield those who had broken their hearts, spirits, and limbs out of fear.
Vulnerability plays a crucial role in effective communication. Speaking honestly and sharing stories of overcoming tremendous trials helps an audience relate to the speaker. If a person does not share vulnerable moments and speaks only from a lofty place, it is difficult for her message to resonate with an audience. I incorporate vulnerability into my podcasts and speeches by sharing relatable stories that reveal me as a human with similar frailties as others
My ultimate goal as a speaker is to motivate others to be brave and vulnerable enough to tell their stories, move beyond the trauma, and begin to heal
