ANIMAL ART AT THE ZOO

Ages 8-12 • Activity #5104.101.21 June 17 • All Day

Instructor: April Geist

Minimum 12 to Maximum 18 kids will jump on the bus, head for the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls for a day of photography and drawing! Bring any type of camera (check battery, bring an empty chip). Art supplies will be included. Bring a bag lunch and drinks. Bus leaves from the Rec Center at 9:00 am, returns by 3:30 pm. Kids riding the bus must wear a face mask.

GROWING GARDENERS

Grades K-3 Activity #5150.104.21 June 9, 16, 23 • 9:30 - 11:30 am

Instructors: Beverly Heidelberge & Mitchell Garden Club

Minimum 5 to Maximum 18 kids can have fun with a variety of hands-on horticulture activities at Hitchcock Park Indoor Shelter.

Students will work with multiple media to create artworks that express the beauty of plants, flowers and insects. Media included will be paper collage/ sculpture, oil pastel and watercolors. Fee: $37.28
