(479-273-4000) is planning to open a Walmart at a proposed 250,000 sq.ft. shopping center situated on 29 acres at the intersection of South Zarzamora Street and Culberson Avenue on the Southwest Side section of San Antonio, TX. The company will also open its first Walmart Neighborhood Market in the city during summer 2014. The company is also slated to open a 151,507 sq.ft. Walmart Supercenter at the site of a former Sam’s Club located at the intersection of Route 18 North and Tices Lane in East Brunswick, NJ. Another 150,000 sq.ft. Walmart Supercenter will open at the site of a former Fun Mania located at the intersection of Route 18 and Spring Valley Road in Old Bridge, NJ. The store will feature a 7,200 sq.ft. outdoor garden area. The company trades as Walmart, Walmart Supercenter and Walmart Neighborhood Market and currently operates more than 9,000 locations nationwide and internationally throughout 15 countries. Friday’s restaurant at Azalea Regional Shopping Center, a 370,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard and Firestone Boulevard in Southgate, CA next month.
