“It is my belief that it is of the utmost importance that as UK dental labs you keep up to date with the latest news, products and services on offer in the profession.

“One of the easiest ways of doing this annually is, of course, DTS. Hosting a range of CPD, all of the latest equipment and materials, and expert advice all available in one place, DTS is a massive saver both in terms of time and money. Not only this, but it means that when providing care and information to clients, you can be confident that your opinions and advice is based on the latest available information.

“It’s also a great way to meet up with fellow DLA members, whether they be old friends or new ones in the making, particularly after the past two years. Face to face meet ups at events like DTS are something we have all missed, and as well as being fantastic socially, they can also really add value to your business. I’ve received some amazing advice and tips from my peers over the years, and hopefully I’ve given some as well!

“No matter why you are visiting DTS, I sincerely hope you enjoy the show. Come and visit the DLA team in the Association Membership Lounge to say hi!”

Is your milling partner the best one for you?

lBéatrice Robichaud – CoFounder and VP of Marketing & Customer Experience at Panthera Dental – will be one of several highly-esteemed speakers in the DTS Lecture Theatre at the Dental Technology Showcase (DTS) 2022, presenting “Masters of Milling”.

She comments: “Milling centres are everywhere and they offer many types of products. However, no one has the chance to truly understand if a milling partner is really offering the best outcome for their business and their patients. “The objective of my lectures is to give attendees tools to think by themselves and come to their own conclusions about the milling centres they work with. I hope they gain skills and confidence to effectively assess if a milling centre is responsible and uses the best equipment for the best outcomes, and make sure they get good value for their money.

“This is my first time at the show and I aim to bring something never before heard or seen. I also always try to create fun and interactive content that delegates will remember and talk about once out of the lecture.”

Kick-start your financial recovery and growth at DTS 2022!

lThe DTS Lecture Theatre at the Dental Technology Showcase (DTS) 2022 will present an array of lectures covering a broad spectrum of topics for the entire lab team. Dr Stefan Goniszewski, CEO of GKA Innovation, will be discussing “Crowns to cash – how does government funding and R&D tax credits apply to the dental industry?”

About his session, he says: “My lecture will help delegates to unlock money that many don’t realise they are eligible for. I hope to help dispel some of the misconceptions that currently exist regarding funding avenues, including R&D tax relief opportunities. As such, delegates should gain an understanding of what the government offers to help companies who are seeking to advance their products and services, as well as how it applies to and may be beneficial for them. The talk will truly help companies get a financial kick -start to aid recovery from the Covid-19 downturn.”

DTS is completely free for delegates to attend – register for your place online today!

Putting the spotlight on digital at DTS

lDr Douglas Watt will be presenting “An overview of digital workflows in general practice” as part of the NEW Digital Dentistry Acceleration Forum at DTS 2022. About his session he says:

“I think digital dentistry is important to get involved with now as it’s no longer ‘the future’ of dentistry but a current reality that improves outcomes for both patients and the dental team.

“I hope that delegates attending my session will gain an understanding of how accessible and feasible digital dentistry is for daily workflows. I also hope delegates will take away some new knowledge of digital workflows and how these can be utilised in all areas of dentistry.

“I would encourage people to attend my session and the event in order to see what is possible with current technologies in dentistry and how these can make your working day easier and more enjoyable!”

The next Dental Technology Showcase will be held on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th May 2022, Birmingham NEC, co-located with British Dental Conference & Dentistry Show Birmingham.
