Zirkonzahn, a family-run dental technical company located in South Tyrol (Italy), known for their Prettau® zirconia and CAD/CAM systems production, has also become one of the largest manufactures of implant prosthetic component. From scan components to implant abutments and their related screws, they offer a vast range of components that is constantly expanded to provide the techno-clinical team with improved flexibility for their analoguedigital workflow. 100% CONTROLLED – EVERYTHING IS HOME-MADE Components are produced according to ISO 13485 MDSAP and Directive 93/42/ EEC for medical devices, using high-quality medical titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V ELI according to ASTM F136 and DIN EN ISO 5832-3). All components are produced in-house with versatile and high tech CNC machinery with turning and grinding components as well as coating systems. Not anymore: all abutments and screws are available also with gold plating. This increases biocompatibility, improves aesthetics and prevents cold welding as well as the unintended loosening of the screw. Titanium bases can also be anodised in different colours. All components are available both analogue and digital and can also be integrated into other design software free of charge (3shape and Exocad). This ensures a reliable and coherent workflow from implant planning to insertion into the patient mouth. You can even scan with your original Scanmarker and, if you are collaborating with a Zirkonzahn user, she/ he can proceed in the digital planning with a Zirkonzahn abutment.
