Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP SNK): If your device supports this profile, then it will allow you to listen to audio files present on your mobile devices like mobile phone or tablet. It will cast the content to your Echo device. Almost every Echo devices have A2DP SRC. It allows the users to stream the audio files from your Echo device through a Bluetooth speaker.

Audio and Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP): It enables a user to use a hands-free voice control while the mobile devices are in connection with your Echo device. •Once, you are sure that your device supports any of the Bluetooth formats, then proceed to the following support procedure. •Verify the set of batteries belonging to your Bluetooth devices.

Ensure there is no interference between the devices you are trying to pair.

Delete all the names of Bluetooth devices that was present earlier. If using an Amazon Tap, then go through the following steps: •Tap on the Alexa app and open the main menu. •Go to Settings. •Choose the respective Amazon Tap device. •Click on Bluetooth and set it to Clear the existing list.



If using an Echo and Echo Dot, then go through the following steps: • • • • •

Open the Alexa and visit the main menu. Open the Settings. Choose your equipment. Click on Bluetooth. Highlight the devices from the given list and choose to Forget them. Follow the same steps for rest other Bluetooth devices available under that list until the list becomes empty.


If using an Echo Show, then go through the following steps: • • •

Speak out, "Open Settings," or drag down the top of its screen and click on Settings. Choose the option for Bluetooth. Tap on the "Info" icon present aside to your device name and click on Forget Device. Follow the same steps for rest other available Bluetooth devices. After removing all the devices, reboot your Echo device and the Bluetooth device. Now try to pair up with Echo device.



If using an Echo and Amazon Tap, then go through the following steps for pairing: • • • •

Speak out, "Open Settings," or drag down the top of its screen and click on Settings. Choose the option for Bluetooth. Speak up, "Pair." The Echo device will move on to pairing mode. Open the Bluetooth settings available on your mobile device and choose your Echo device. After the connection is established Alexa will announce that the pairing is done.


If using an Echo Dot, then go through the following steps for pairing: • • •

Ask the device to open Alexa app and open its main menu. Go to Settings. Choose your device and go to Bluetooth and select the Pairing Mode. It will lead your Echo device to pairing mode. Tap the Bluetooth settings of your mobile device and choose your Echo device. Alexa app will then notify you about the successful pairing.
