Many of the users face trouble while processing payment for Facebook ads. So today we learn the solution for this issue by changing the Currency used for billing of Facebook ads.

Sometimes people are unable to process payments for their Facebook ads. It may be due to any problem at your payment provider’s end or due to acceptance issue with the currency you are using for the payment. So to overcome this processing issue today, we will discuss the steps to modify the currencies being used for making payments for Facebook ads.

Before changing the Currency, please make sure the existing Currency belongs to the list of accepted currencies by Facebook. The list of these Currencies accepted by Facebook can be found on Facebook's official site.

One can vary the currency for paying the Facebook ads by opening the Ads Manager. It is only possible if you don't have any existing balance for a minimum of past 60 days. If any user has his or her Business Manager and Facebook account linked with many other Accounts, then it won’t be possible to change the currency for processing the payment. So, in this case, you should try creating a new account for processing payments from Business Manager and set it up with updated Currency.

Just go through the following Facebook customer support steps before varying the currency:

▪ When you change the Currency to new, time zone and build a new Facebook ad account. The old Facebook ad account will remain available under the drop down menu present at the upper left side of the option for Ads Manager. Although the older Account will be visible, it won’t work at all, and all Facebook ads created from the previous Account won’t be promoted or showed up anymore anywhere. If in case there is an ad running with your older account, then you will be charged for it in the older currency.

The Currency to which you are changing must belong the country for which you are running your business. For example, if a user has opted for BRL as the new currency, then they should set Brazil as their home country. If in case you choose any other Country than Brazil for creating the Facebook ad account, then, later on, you can not change your Country name to Brazil.

Now go through the following steps for changing the currency used for paying Facebook ads:

▪ Open the Ad Account Settings from Ads Manager. ▪ Locate the option for Currency on “Change Currency.”

and

click

▪ Choose the new currency and time zone from the given drop-down list. ▪ Tap on the option to Create “New Account.”

After following the procedure mentioned above, you aren't able to change the existing currency to another one, then make a check if any of the following issues persist with your account or not:

▪Verify if the Account is settled or not. ▪Check if you have any pending review for an ad. ▪Make sure you didn’t change the Currency for more than twice in the previous 28 days. ▪Ensure you are looking at the required personal ad account.

If none of the listed issues persist, then you will be able to change the Currency used for payments related to Facebook posts. Still, if you find any problem, then feel free to get help from Facebook tech support.
