The newly redesigned Xbox One's home screen can be used to Pin many different sections to its dashboard, enabling you to alter the whole Dashboard just like a tailor shapes the clothes. A user can use it for adding games, video clips, friends and many more things. One can move them across the screen according to their needs.
The upper part of the dashboard will showcase a list of games and apps that are currently active while the bottom part will show the games and shows you recently watched along with few ads. The options will be highlighted using your accent color along with a little glow added to it.
The background color can be personalized. To create new sections at home screen, you can click on the menu button present on Xbox controller and choose the option for “Add to Home.�
Users can also react to news and updates they receive for favorite games. Microsoft is planning to introduce many new content blocking features to it within a couple of months.
The updated guide will no longer show the vertical tabs and will now display the option in horizontal sequence at the top of the screen. It would go along the home part including the shortcuts for the dashboard, pinned contents, recently viewed apps and new communication links. The new “Action Center� includes all notifications besides allowing access to settings menu and power controls.
The community section is entirely changed and is designed to develop vibrant activity feed that shows more information that was available earlier. It has a wide variety of column interfaces.
