Giant Easter Market LOCAL charities will benefit with the return of a giant indoor Easter Charity Market, to be held in Petersfield Festival Hall on Easter Saturday, 11th April with 70 stalls.

The traditional family-run event is in aid of Portsmouth Hospitals Cancer Research equipment fund. Other good causes will include the Rosemary Foundation, Action for children and Petersfield Open Air Swimming Pool.

Easter decorations available to buy. Children’s author Lloyd Paul Jennings will also be selling his books. A raffle for the Cancer Research Equipment appeal is to be held in the foyer, and a café run by Petersfield WI will serve refreshments in the Rose Room. Admission to the market is free and is open 9.30am to 3pm.

Bookings for stalls whether charity, craft or trade are all welcome on 01730 264802.

Stallholders from across the area will be supporting the event with collectables, antiques, bric-a-brac, toys, puzzles, greetings cards and jewellery. Drawing on more than a decade of experience in the motor trade, Matt Bartlett launched Auto Matt at Rake Industries near Petersfield in March last year.

Matt started at a local car sales garage, helping in their workshop, before studying NVQ 1,2,3 motor vehicle mechanics at Chichester College. During his time at local Citroen and Peugeot dealers, Matt gained an insight into the latest new car technologies.
