68 ittle Bird was opened in December of 2010 by the team behind Le Pigeon. Little Bird is open from 11:30 AM to midnight Monday to Friday, and 5:00 PM to midnight on the weekends. At any hour you can find guests enjoying house-made charcuterie, oysters, roasted bone marrow, along with a glasses of Belle Oiseau (the house wine made by Belle Pente Vineyards). Additionally there is a full lunch and dinner menu made by chef/owner Gabriel Rucker. With high tin ceilings and dark leather banquettes the space appears large, but is actually quite intimate. On any night guests Food and Wine Magazine named are celebrating Gabriel Rucker one of the country’s anniversaries, as Best New Chefs in 2007, and he has won two James Beard awards: Rising well as the fact Star in 2011, and Best Chef NW in that it’s Tuesday! 2013.
