PROJECT ‘SAVE EARTH’ Eco-warriors support school’s waste management advocacy

Due to the pandemic restrictions that led to the conduct of distance learning classes, the practical implementation of sustainable activities at Burauen Comprehensive National High School (BCNHS) in Burauen, Leyte, was put on hold three years ago. Today, it is once again implemented at BCNHS to foster awareness and instill positive attitude towards Mother Earth.

As an eco-friendly school, BCNHS has always been active in environmental protection. Several initiatives have been carried out, including information dissemination through various platforms, bringing of reusable bottles, the establishment of compost pits in all classrooms, and the creation of differentiated materials through waste recycling.
