EQUITY ANALYSIS - DAILY

MARKET WRAP Sensex raised 0.40 %@18,505.38 pts; Nifty dropped 0.39 % @ 5,619.70 pts.

Europe’s major indices CAC, DAX & FTSC were up from 0.40 % - 0.58 %.

NASDAQ was up 0.06 %, while Dow Jones Ind. Avg. was up 0.03 %.

Sensex closed up 74.53 pts @18,505.38 while Nifty closed up 21.80 pts @ 5619.70.

Today Sensex rose, recovering from steep falls in the previous session, as auto makers such as Maruti Suzuki rose on hopes sales would rebound, while drug makers including Karur Vysya Bank & Glenmark extended a recent rally on the back of robust earnings.
