EQUITY ANALYSIS - DAILY

MARKET WRAP Sensex closed up 0.46%@ 19317.25pts; Nifty up 0.48%@ 5879.60pts.

European majors DAX up 0.19% & CAC, FTSE were down 0.06, 0.12resp.

NASDAQ was down 0.72% while Dow Jones Industrial Avg. was down 0.56%.

Sensex closed up 87.99pts @19317.25; Nifty closed up 28.10pts @5879.60 The Market closed Friday's session in the green, snapping a five-day losing streak as lenders such as ICICI Bank gained after lower-than-expected inflation data reinforced hopes the RBI will start cutting interest rates in Jan. ICICI Bank provisionally rose 1.5%, while SBI 2.8%.
