EQUITY ANALYSIS - DAILY

MARKET WRAP Sensex fell 0.73% @18,577.70 pts; Nifty dropped 0.69% @ 5,648.00 pts.

NASDAQ was up 0.66 %, Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.72 %.

Britain’s FTSE, Germany’s DAX & France’s CAC were up 0.54% - 0.71%.

Sensex dropped 135.85 pts @18,577.70 while Nifty fell 39.25 pts @ 5648.00. Today market closed red, erasing all morning gains due to weakness in capital goods, metals, banks, realty and FMCG stocks, and also on account of less hopes of encouraging numbers from rate sensitives. The MSCI Asia ex-Japan index was up by 0.53 percent.
