EQUITY ANALYSIS - DAILY

MARKET WRAP Sensex up by 0.31% @ 18517.34pts;Nifty rose by 0.23% @ 5627.75 pts.

France’s CAC, Germany DAX & Britain’s FTSE were up from 0.25%-0.59%.

NASDAQ was up 0.34% while Dow Jones Industrial Avg. was up 0.38%.

Sensex closed up 56.96 pts @18517.34; Nifty closed up 12.95 pts @5627.75. Today Nifty edged higher, turning to slightly positive for the month, as a weaker rupee boosted IT stocks, while banking shares rose on the first day of the winter session of the parliament. SBI gained 1.8% as the govt. will infuse capital in PSU banks this week.
