BLESSINGS BY THE BOX— PROJECT ANGEL FOOD BEGINS AT ST. MARGARET’S IN FEBRUARY 2010: Project Angel Food is a nationwide, non-profit food relief program that provides quality foods on a monthly basis to families, individuals and seniors in need. We are moving forward quickly and will begin accepting orders in January, with the first distribution in February. We will have numerous ongoing volunteer opportunities, especially for the Saturday distribution days (which are generally the 4th Saturday of each month). Keep Angel Food in mind, and we will have more information as we approach our February distribution. For more information, please contact Program Coordinator, John Heppert: 582-0583 or kdsnk9s@cox.net and be sure to keep watch for more details. Let’s get out and provide monthly blessings by the box!

BLESSING OF PLEDGES We appreciate your response to our 2010 stewardship drive. This Sunday morning (December 27) during services we will bless the pledges we have received for 2010. Pledge responses can continue to be submitted as you are ready to do so. And we ask your assistance to help save the church almost $2.00 postage fees: Plan to pick up your pledge envelope box on December 27 or January 3 or even during the week from the church office. Thank you!

FR. DORAN’S WEDNESDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASS: Fr. Doran’s Bible Study will resume meeting on Wednesday, January 6, and they will begin a study of the Gospel of Mark—who was known as the “newspaper reporter” Gospel writer, and whose gospel writing is considered “dismal theology.” Even so, Fr. Doran welcomes you! The class meets Wednesday mornings from 10:45 AM-Noon.
