Cold weather got you feeling down? Feeling a little sluggish from that extra winter weight? Interested in losing weight and toning up? Want some strength training and functional fitness? How would you like a FREE workout club? Get motivated and get Rev’d Up for Rev Abs video workouts every Monday through Friday, immediately after work (workouts begin at 5:10 p.m. sharp). The Evergreen Association is offering the use of the 5th floor training center for video workouts. Rev Abs is a 90-day, 2-phase plan consisting of 9 workout routines, 15 to 50 minutes in length. The workouts are alternated 6 days on and 1 day off ; however, given the work week, workouts will be offered 5 days on and 2 days off. Anyone can join the workout at anytime they wish and attend as many or as few sessions as they are comfortable. Although the main focus of the RevAbs workouts is the abdominal region, the program as a whole works out the entire body. No matter what exercises you perform, the individual workouts use techniques that put constant attention on your abdominal region. The process is called Abcentrics and it is designed to not only workout the abdominal muscles from six different angles but also teach you how to use your abdominal muscles in every rep of every exercise that you perform. The program started on March 21, but we’ll continue through the end of the 90 day series, and beginners/newcomers are welcome at any session. Please bring a workout/yoga mat or towel, as well as a resistance band and set of light (5-20 pound) weights (optional). You’ll get the Rev Abs Nutrition guide, Rev Abs Anytime Anywhere Abs Guide, and a Rev’d up attitude! C Editor’s Note: not all exercise programs are suitable for everyone. Consult your physician before beginning this or any other fitness program. You should never exercise beyond the level at which you feel comfortable. If at any time you feel that you are exercising beyond your current capability, or if you feel discomfort or dizziness, discontinue exercise immediately.
