WELCOME TO BAILE BEAG
FÁILTE CHUIG BAILE BEAG
Baile Beag opened its doors in 2006, after the decision had been made to bring the three schools in Youghal together. Since then our population has grown rapidly but our sense of community prevails.
With our mission statement at the core of what we do, the characteristic spirit of Baile Beag is one of openness and inclusiveness, and where all members of the school community are cherished equally. Our school aims to instil a spirit of intellectual enquiry and academic endeavour in the pupils, fostering in them a desire for participation and challenge.
We strive to build individual and compassionate young people. We are committed to the holistic growth of our pupils, and aim to contribute to their Spiritual, Intellectual, Moral, Mental and Physical well-being and development.

“Sport means a lot to me. It is a way of life. It keeps me fit while enjoying the outdoors. It is something that can be done at anytime either alone or as part of a team. I believe It helps you to be organised as it is important to have a good work / play balance. Sport allows you to experience the victories as well as the defeats and therefore prepares you for ups and downs in life. You cannot win all the time but it is important to enjoy trying. It is nice to represent your school at sports. You get to play with your friends while enjoying the benefits of a few hours off.”
-Alex Cashman 5th year, who partakes in Athletics, Gaelic Football and Camogie.OTHER ACTIVITIES
