Olivewood Gardens & Learning Center Hosts

Annual Seedling Soirée on Saturday, June 3rd -Seedling Soirée 2023 will celebrate another year of food and environmental education, access, and advocacy programming for families throughout San Diego County-

San Diego, CA -- Olivewood Gardens & Learning Center is thrilled to announce its upcoming fundraising event, Seedling Soirée 2023. The event will be on Saturday, June 3rd, on Olivewood’s historic 7.85-acre property in the heart of National City. Taking place in the gardens, the farm-to-table feast under the stars will feature San Diego’s best brewers, chefs, distillers, and vintners with a one-of-a-kind menu consisting of local, organic ingredients and produce. Proceeds from the Seedling Soirée will directly benefit the numerous Olivewood programs that serve the National City community and greater San Diego area.

& Learning Center will kick off the evening with a roaming Forage & Feast throughout the beautiful gardens featuring food, drink, and activity stations from 5-7:45 p.m., followed by a Seated Dessert and program from 7:459 p.m. The night will be filled with live music, garden-inspired cocktails and appetizers, a plated dessert, silent and live auctions, and more.

Featured chefs include Andy Weiss & Kevin Templeton of The Smoking Gun, Spill the Beans, and barleymash, Ángel Enrique López and Juan Ángel

Paxil, Jiomar Diaz of Chaya Global Fusion Cuisine, Logan Mitchell of The Cellar Door, Lulu Briseño & Aureny Aranda of Au Gourmet, Marcus Twilegar of Adobo House, Olivewood Kitchenistas, Maria López Peña of The Guild Hotel, Adrián Villareal of Tahona Bar, Olivewood Garden 2 Kitchen & Nutrition Interns, and Shannon Davis of Life's Investments. Beverages will be provided by Bivouac Ciderworks, Brew Bar, Caffe Calabria, Chareau, Mike Hess Brewing, Old Harbor Distilling, Raging Cider, Rejon Tequila, and Stay Classy

Tickets for the Seedling Soirée 2023 fundraiser are available for purchase on Olivewood Gardens' website, https:// www.olivewoodgardens.org/seedlingsoiree-2023/. The organization also welcomes donations from those who are unable to attend the event but wish to support the cause.
