Homecoming Event Information Parade
All divisions are welcome to join us around Loop Road near the Lower School and the Cramer Family Field House at 9:35am on Friday, October 18. Come out to see the banners, the band, athletic teams, Homecoming court, and more!
Football Game
Please join us for the Homecoming football game against Seminole High School at 7:00pm. If you plan on attending, admission to the game is free of charge for students with ID’s and $7.00 for adults.
Lower School

It’s Spirit Week and Homecoming Dress Up Days in the Lower School. Spirit Wear dress code for the week includes:
• TFA t-shirts (uniform, sports team, fine arts, etc.)
• Appropriate bottoms (uniform shorts or pants, jeans, jean shorts, or jean skirts)
Friday, October 18 - School Spirit
Dress in Blue and Gold or your Homecoming T-shirt
Monday, October 21 - Game Day
Dress up as your favorite board or video game character. Characters must be school appropriate (no weapons or anything violent or scary in nature).
Tuesday, October 22 - Scrabble Day
Dress up as something that starts with the first letter of your first or last name.
Wednesday, October 23 - Game Night
Dress up in pajamas.
Thursday, October 24 - Game of Life
Dress up as your future career (teacher, doctor, football player, gymnast, etc.)
Friday, October 25 - Game of Twister
Dress mismatched and crazy.
Lower School
K-Prep 4’s — 5th grade students will prepare to show school spirit at the parade by making spirit items such as shakers or paw prints in their classrooms. The parade route will be filled with blue and gold!
The Homecoming Parade is scheduled for Friday, October 18 at 9:35am around Loop Road. Come enjoy the banners, the band, the cheerleaders, and more! The Lower School parking lot will be closed after morning carline to allow the use of that area for parade viewing.

Prepare for an old-fashioned game night by wearing your most comfortable and dresscode appropriate pajamas.
• Thursday: The Game of Life
Dress up as your favorite TFA teacher, administrator, or coach.
• Friday: Class Color Day
• 6th Grade: Blue
• 7th Grade: Red
• 8th Grade: Black
• Tank tops
Middle School
The following items are not acceptable:
• Spaghetti straps, strapless, crop tops
• Torn clothing
• Outfits must be longer than fingertip length when standing
• Full face paint
• Character masks that cover the entire face
• Low cut shirts/blouses
• Tight-fitting outfits
• Any non-uniform clothing not joining in the theme of the day. If a student chooses not to dress up, TFA Spirit Wear with jeans or uniform bottoms is approved
• Any political apparel, accessories, or promotional materials of any type
• Weapons or play weapons of any kind.

Middle & Upper School students will attend the Pep Rally at 2:05pm in the Cramer Family Field House.
Royal Nation is then invited to the Upper School Powder Puff game at 6:30pm at the Payne Stewart Athletic Complex. The Powder Pull game is free of charge. Come out to see which Upper School grade will claim the trophy!
Upper School
9th-12th Grade
Homecoming Fashion Show, the Parade, and the Coronation.
Court Eligibility
The First Academy determined that it is important to recognize a variety of students, giving more students the opportunity to be on the court. Therefore, students who are selected for Homecoming Court will not be eligible for Homecoming Court again until their senior year. This will ensure that more students are recognized and highlighted throughout the year.
Coronation
On October 7-10, students in grades 9-12 will vote for our Senior Homecoming King & Queen. Results will be announced at the coronation which takes place on Friday, October 18 at halftime during the football game at the Payne Stewart Athletic Complex.
Dress Up Days
The Homecoming Court participated in a Fashion Show to display various ideas for each of the themed dress-up days. Students are welcome to use one of the ideas displayed, or come up with their own outfit within the theme. If students choose not to dress up, TFA Spirit Wear with jeans or uniform bottoms is approved.

Homecoming Dance
Upper School, Grades 9-12
Homecoming will be a dessert-only dance held in Faith Hall at First Orlando on Saturday, October 26, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. We encourage students to enjoy dinner at a restaurant of choice prior to the dance.
TICKET PURCHASE
Tickets may be purchased online HERE and are $40.00 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased through October 18. Outside guests must complete the “Outside Guest Form”.
