Rangers Softball Final

Laci Hambalek swings in an attempt to send the ball flying while Cailon Palmer waits patiently on deck.

Ranger Softball advanced for the first time to the Region XIV tournament. The Rangers started the tournament against Blinn College falling 6-0. This sent the Rangers into the bottom of the bracket to play KC’s rivals Tyler Junior College. After a slow start the Rangers were unable to regain control and suffered a season-ending 13-3 loss to the Tyler Junior College Apaches, in Lufkin. Photographs by Tina Marie Reed
