Get ready for the fourth annual Carefree Enchanted Pumpkin Garden CAREFREE – Halloween invades the town of Carefree in the form of whimsical pumpkin carvings from master sculptor, Ray Villafane, and his team for Carefree’s fourth annual Enchanted Pumpkin Garden happening October 19-28. The Enchanted Pumpkin Garden is a free event with a oneof-a-kind fall festival celebrating the magic of the season with the incredible artistry of Villafane Studios on display throughout the four-acre Carefree Desert Gardens in downtown Carefree. CAVE CREEK – The Cave Creek Unified School District Governing Board is asking homeowners for a "nickel tax" so it can join a career and technical education district (CTED), allowing high school students living in its boundaries to take specialized course work starting next school year. Ultimately registered voters living in Cave Creek Unified School District (CCUSD) will see a question on their ballots, voting yes is approving to tax
