Vistancia in Peoria ranked as a national best-selling community TARA ALATORRE STAFF
PEORIA – Vistancia, a community located near Lone Mountain Parkway and El Mirage Road, has been ranked among the nation’s best-selling master-planned communities in 2017 by two of the real estate industry’s leading analysts, RCLCO, and John Burns Real Estate Consulting. The national rankings recognize the leaders in new home sales each year. John Burns Real Estate Consulting ranked the community as 21st in the nation and second in Arizona, and RCLO ranked it as 20th in the nation. The master-planned community reported 462 sales in 2017, averaging more than 38 home sales per month, bringing the total homes at the
community to more than 6,034, and a resident population of nearly 15,000. “Vistancia is proud to continuously be ranked among the top best-selling master planned communities in the nation,” said Mark Hammons, vice president/general manager of Vistancia. “Our sales reinforce that the northwest Valley continues to be one of the most desirable locations to live in Metro-Phoenix for quality of life,” he said. Since 1994 RCLCO has been ranking the top 50 best-selling master-planned communities in the nation by conducting a national survey. Texas, Florida and California continue to dominate the markets making up over half of the total sales volume out of the

Winterfest at Heritage Park this Saturday BLACK CANYON CITY – Celebrate the culture, heritage, history, recreation and resources in a family-friendly environment at the second annual Winterfest at Heritage Park on January 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event offers curious participants of all ages and physical abilities a variety of discovery experiences that instill respect, responsibility, and stewardship for the surrounding area. Take some time to stroll around Heritage Park while enjoying an afternoon of
live music with Jeff Paris. For the kids, Winterfest will feature live animals, Smokey the Bear, a fire truck, desert plants, arts and crafts, and coloring book contest winners will be announced. Patrons can also participate in a silent auction, and receive free park passes from Arizona State Parks. There will be local food vendors from, Nora Jean’s Koffee Kitchen, Kona Ice, and others.
