Time to vote: Polling places Annual Veterans Day ceremony to be around the north valley held at Anthem Veterans Memorial ELIZABETH MEDORA STAFF

NORTH VALLEY – The 2016 election season is finally almost over – all that’s left to do is vote or drop off your early ballot if you didn’t mail it. High voter turnout is expected in this election. According to the Secretary of State, nearly 3.6 million Arizonans are now registered to vote. Find your polling place for this election by entering your address at http://recorder. maricopa.gov/pollingplace. You’ll need identification to vote in person, either a driver’s license or government-issued ID, or two of other forms of ID. See the list of acceptable

ID items here: http://recorder. maricopa.gov. Electioneering is forbidden within 75 feet of a polling place. According to the Maricopa County Recorder, those who want to hand out materials or signs to voters at polling place must do so outside the 75-foot line, and they also need to seek permission from the property owner first. The recorder also notes that once voters have cast their ballots, they need to move outside the 75-foot zone around the polling places. If you feel that you’ve experienced voter intimidation
