THS promotes Zumbook drive

Tibag High School encourages the parents, students, teachers, alumni, and other stakeholders to join in the Zumbook activity with a theme Shake it to the Left, Shake it to the Right!

Proclamation No. 837 s, 1991 announces the month of November as Library and Information Services (LIS) Month. Thus, Tarlac City Schools Division releases a Division Memorandum No. 192, s. 2022 encouraging the schools with libraries to conduct Zumbook Activity. It has the following objectives: To generate books and other learning materials; To encourage teachers in all grade levels and staff, alumni, parents, barangay officials, and stakeholders to donate books and other materials; To inspire and support public school heads in establishing their school library; To boost participants to have strong, active and healthy bodies.

The Zumbook activity was officially opened through opening remarks given by Dr. Juvelyn L. Esteban. The participants such as teachers, staff, students, alumni, parents, barangay officials, and stakeholders of Tibag High School donated books from 2010 onward for them to be registered in
