THS studes’ learning recovery anticipated

Reading teachers of Tibag High School started utilizing the reading materials under project RESCUE which consisted of two main categories, the reading materials for non-decoders and for noncomprehenders.

Based on Memorandum No. 199 s.2022, Dr. Reymar D. Paguio, Education Program Supervisor in English, initiated the Project Rescue (Recovery and Engagement of Struggling Readers through Curriculum Updates and Explicit Instruction) to address the learning losses in literacy.

In addition, reading strategies are specified in the materials. Students will be answering comprehension questions in literary and academic texts with the supervision of their reading teachers.
