While I am in favor of the changing of our school uniform, one thing that concerns me is that many THS students can’t afford to buy new sets due to financial incapabilities. I have once heard of the Project Bihis spearheaded by Balmes Educational Foundation, and and minds to rest, eat healthy food, and especially, get enough hours of sleep. Among Filipino children aged 5 to 15, 10% to 15% are affected by mental health problems. According to WHO, there is 16.8% of Filipino students aged 13 to 17 who have attempted suicide at least once within every year. it was with great delight that some of my fellow students will be recipients of the free new THS uniform. Many of us changed behaviorally because of the trauma that the pandemic had caused; our mentality and perception changed too. The way we think before is beyond different from now. Some have matured because of staying inside their houses with lesser chances of going out. On the other hand, some failed to learn their lessons and academically declined.

According to the Association for University and College Counseling Centre Directors (AUCCCD) , depression is the number one reason why students drop out from school. It is important for our body

Meanwhile, according to the National Statistics Office (NSO) mental illness is one of the most common disabilities among Filipinos. The Department of Health (DOH) estimates that at least 3.6 million Filipinos are facing mental health issues during the pandemic, including depression and mood disorders. During the pandemic, COVID-19, Philippines was under lockdown. The schools, shops, markets, and almost the whole country was closed.
