In partnership with our Board of Trustees, school nurse, public health experts, medical professioanls, staff, and our administrative team, we believe coming back to school is essential for both academic and social emotional well-being of our students. As always our top priority is the health and safety of our students, faculty, staff, and parents. As we continue to learn more about the new COVID-19 varriants, we will review the latest guidelines to evaluate our protocols. We have included some helpful information below. Please know that a robust FAQ and COVID-19 If/Then Scenarios are forthcoming. • Masks: FXW will follow the Illinois Department of Public Health mandate and all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a mask as we begin the upcoming school year. Masks must fit over the nose and mouth. They should have two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric and fit snuggly over the nose and mouth.

Students should not use vinyl masks or masks with exhalation valves or vents. Please click here to read more.
